The future of Belgian contemporary jewellery
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MONT-DE-PIÉTÉ

As part of BRUSSELS JEWELLERY WEEK, an exceptional venue has been dedicated to the promotion of Belgian schools and academies focusing on contemporary jewellery: the Freddy Thielemans space at the Mont-de-Piété. This modern and luminous space, spread over two floors, is indeed ideal for showcasing jewellery.
For three days, the Mont-de-Piété hosted the Be.NEXT exhibition, a showcase of work by students from Belgian schools and academies. This gathering of institutions focused on contemporary jewellery allowed the public to discover the diversity and quality of the education offered in the country.

MONT-DE-PIÉTÉ
What is the Mont-de-Piété?
It is a unique public institution. It is the only pawnshop in Belgium. The advantage of using their services is that you remain the owner of the object that is dear to you (jewellery, luxury leather goods, paintings, luxury bicycle, etc.). In less than 30 minutes, you have the money.
You can also sell your goods directly and benefit from the visibility of their auction room. Auctions are organised almost every week (on site and online).
Since 2018, art exhibitions are organised in connection with the sales themes.
