Benaazir is an artisanal jewellery label dedicated to crafting timeless designs. Amidst the creative chaos of Benaazir’s design studio, she finds inspiration in the characters of less encountered gemstones like Ruby Zoisite, Chrysoprase and Dendrite - embracing all their unique imperfections. Benaazir works with precious metals with a special fondness for silver. Crafted with endurance in mind, her designs are meant to be cherished and passed down through generations, transcending conventional boundaries of gender and age.

    Suspended particles

Isabelle Azaïs’ jewellery is particularly light, which she finds essential. The shapes she develops are quite large, but weigh just a few grams. In the latest series, for which she worked with balloons that generally inflate with helium, her inspiration escapes from the seabed to return to the surface and take to the air like bubbles. But where will these plastic balloons that we launch in bunches into the sky go to die? Is our happiness always at the expense of another form of life? For some time now, balloon releases have been making her morose.

    MARTINE DE VOS

Martine De Vos enjoys working with non-conventional materials and techniques. Fascinated by the properties of fluorescence and with light as inspiration, she designed the EDISON collection. By incorporating luminescent material into plastic, she creates jewellery that resembles porcelain and illuminates in the dark.

For the PARTICLES exhibition, Martine drew inspiration from a cat’s whisker to create her brooches. Whiskers are essential for cats, aiding in navigation and communication.
